INFORMATION WE NEED TO KNOW

Please feel free to contact us with an enquiry about a specific date and event that you are planning. In order to ascertain our availability we will require the following information:

Your proposed venue
the start and end time you would require for us to play
the type of event and therefore the type of music you would require
any special musical requirements that you may have. (You may like to read our Repertoire Page for ideas.)
if possible enter a one/two word description of the event and the proposed date in the ‘Subject and date’ field, as this will help us track your request.

Information you will want to know:

BOOKING FEES 2012:
- Private functions (eg. wedding, formal dinner, etc) from £390.00
- Business event from £460.00
BOOKING FEES 2013:
- Private functions (eg. wedding, formal dinner, etc) from £400.00
- Business event from £470.00
These fees are for our minimum booking time of 2 hours.

If you require music for longer than 2 hours, our fee is charged at £125 per additional hour (or part hour) for private functions and £160 per additional hour for business functions (2012 and 2013).

In some special circumstances we may be prepared to negotiate a different booking fee depending on your requirements.

We are happy to travel anywhere within a 30 mile radius of Inverness at no extra charge. Further distances will incur travel expenses.

Once we have confirmed our availability you can confirm your booking with us by paying a deposit of £100.00, payable to “Animato String Quartet” and posted to:

If cheque payment does not suit you please ask for our bank details to make a cash transfer.

ONCE YOU HAVE BOOKED ANIMATO

We require floor space of 2 metres x 3 metres and reasonable lighting in order to perform. 4 chairs (without arms) should be in place and someone at the venue should be on hand to show us where we are to play. We usually arrive at the venue 15-30 minutes prior to our booking time in order to set up. We will also require somewhere to store our instrument cases while we are playing.

FINAL PAYMENT - SETTLING THE BALANCE
You can pay your final balance by cheque either prior to your function date by post or in person on the date itself. Again, cheques should be made payable to "Animato String Quartet" and either posted as above or handed to Isabel at the event.
